Steele Auto Group is revving up its support for mental health. As Atlantic Canada’s largest auto dealer, Steele Auto Group welcomes the opportunity to give back to the Nova Scotians who’ve helped contribute to its success, including the more than two hundred thousand Nova Scotians who live with mental illness and addiction, and their loved ones.
“Every year Steele helps to improve the mental health of Nova Scotians through its ongoing support,” says Starr Cunningham, Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia President & CEO. “The need for supports and services has never been greater and we’re incredibly excited to be partnering with Steele to shine a light on the importance of investing in mental health while providing hope through songs and stories.”
A longstanding supporter of the Festival of Trees, Steele Auto Group is helping the Foundation shift gears for its 2020 edition of the signature event. Steele is proud to sponsor the inaugural Steele the Spotlight for Mental Health featuring Chantal Kreviazuk and bring the conversation around mental illness and addiction into the living rooms of mental health supporters around the country.
“We at Steele Auto are very proud to be back this year joining the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia as Steele the Spotlight Sponsors, assisting in their fundraising efforts to support the growing demand for Mental Health support in our region," says Kim Day, President and COO of Steele Auto Group. "2020 has been a challenging year; we are thrilled to be part of this event to help raise awareness and financial support for those in need.”
