Steele Auto Group is putting the brakes on one of the biggest challenges facing mental illness: stigma. In partnership with the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia, Atlantic Canada’s Largest Auto Dealer has launched the Drive to End Stigma Raffle in the lead-up to the Compass Group Canada Festival of Trees. The car lottery offers ticket holders the chance to win a 2-year lease on their choice of one of 20 amazing vehicles, or one of 5 second place prizes - a glamourous night out at the RBC Black Tie Gala.
“The car raffle is always an exciting part of the Compass Group Canada Festival of Trees,” says Starr Cunningham, President & CEO of the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia. “This year it will be even more so given Steele Auto Group’s tremendous commitment to mental health.”
Only 1000 tickets are available for this exclusive opportunity with tickets retailing for $100/each. Tickets must be purchased in advance of the Compass Group Canada Festival of Trees and will not be on sale at the event as in previous years.
A draw for 5 semi-finalists will take place November 16, 2019. The 5 lucky semi-finalists will each receive 2 tickets to the Compass Group Canada Festival of Trees RBC Black Tie Gala. At the Gala on November 23rd, all 5 semi-finalists will take to the stage and choose a key fob. One of the fobs will activate the alarm on a showcased vehicle, revealing who will be driving away with the 2-year lease!
You can help make a difference and eradicate the stigma surrounding mental illness and addiction by purchasing a ticket at any Steele Auto dealership in Nova Scotia or online. Click here to learn more or buy tickets.
