COVID-19 Update from Starr

Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia Friends & Partners:

As COVID-19 continues to spread globally, it’s more likely we’ll begin to see more cases in Nova Scotia.

Our decisions will be guided by the NSHA and directives from our Provincial and Federal Government. As such, we have cancelled our upcoming Let’s Keep Talking event slated for May 7, 2020 in Truro to minimize the risk of spreading the virus. It is our responsibility to do what we can to keep our community safe.

Our office is now closed and we will continue to work from home during our regular office hours of 8:30am-4:30pm until further notice.

It’s important Nova Scotians living with mental illness and addiction know we are here for them during this challenging time. Please listen and provide reassurance to those who are experiencing fear and increased anxiety while sharing information from reliable sources.

Finally, and most importantly, please take care of yourself and your loved ones.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Stay healthy!
