The Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia is now accepting applications for its Community Grants Program.
Community Grants support community-based mental health and addictions initiatives designed by communities, for communities. By listening first and investing in local projects that reflect each community’s unique needs, the Foundation helps build more connected, compassionate communities across Nova Scotia.
Together with our donors, the Foundation invests in projects that increase knowledge, expand access to support, foster connection and belonging, and strengthen communities. The initiatives funded through the Community Grants Program help individuals living with mental illness or addictions and their loved ones access support, build resilience, and find hope close to home.
Organizations interested in applying are encouraged to review the program guidelines and eligibility requirements before submitting an application.
Applications for Community Grants are open now and must be submitted by 12 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday, August 13.
Together, we’re investing in community-led mental health and addictions support to create a future where every Nova Scotian has the chance to thrive.
