The Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia is honoured to be part of the Online Art Auction, featuring original pieces created live during this year’s Saltscapes Expo by celebrated Nova Scotian and Indigenous artists.
As part of the initiative, proceeds from Into the Calm by Nova Scotia artist Jasyn Lucas will support community mental health programs funded by the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia.
The online auction brings together art, creativity, and community impact in a meaningful way. Throughout the Expo, attendees had the opportunity to watch artists create their work in real time, offering a unique glimpse into the creative process while helping raise awareness and support for mental health initiatives across the province.
Funds raised through the auction will help the Mental Health Foundation continue investing in local projects designed by communities, for communities — creating opportunities for connection, belonging, and hope throughout Nova Scotia.
We are grateful to Saltscapes, Teichert Gallery, the participating artists, and everyone who places a bid for helping turn creativity into compassion and community impact.
Bidding is open now through June 7 at 10:30 p.m. ADT.
